Titanium 6Al-4V (Grade 5) is stronger than commercially pure titanium alloys. Containing 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, this alloy offers many advantages, including the fact that it is heat treatable and has excellent strength, corrosion resistance, weldability and formability.
